Supply Chain Manager:

for a self-motivated, career-minded individual to fill our Supply Chain Manager position. Position is
available at our Fort Lauderdale location.
Responsibilities include:

Insure proper inventory levels are maintained by
utilizing company inventory control software. |

Recommends changes to product Ratings in order to
better monitor inventory levels. |
| • |
Oversea the creation and placement of resale
inventory replacement purchase orders |
| • |
Seek out and identify alternative suppliers for
best practice purchasing |
| • |
Seek out potential new suppliers, obtaining
pricing, literature, and samples |
| • |
Seeks out third party sources as outlets to move
excess inventories |
| • |
Schedules delivery of incoming Containers based on
inventory requirements, manpower resources and warehouse space available |
| • |
Sets up and implements Cycle Count program to
monitor inventory accuracy |
| • |
Plans, coordinates, and supervises Annual Physical
Inventories |
| • |
Performs incoming inspection of received material |
| • |
Responsible for initiating contact with suppliers,
for the return and/or cost adjustments for defective or substandard material |
| • |
Creates written procedures, forms and documents,
based on current company policy, to be used in the Purchasing and Warehouse |
| • |
Identify and implement efficiency and cost
reduction opportunities |
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
| • |
5+ years experience as a Supply Chain Manager with
purchasing responsibilities in the home furnishing, building materials or natural stone industry |
| • |
Be able to network with warehouse and operations |
| • |
Be a hands on individual |
| • |
Have strong leadership skills and be a
self-starter |
Salary: Base pay + commission
